I don't know how you working moms do it!
Andy has a really bad cold with a terrible cough since Saturday, and has barely slept since then which means I've barely slept since then. Last night I think I got about 1 hour.
At least I can try to take a nap when they go down, I can't imagine trying to work all day like this!

Re: I don't know how you working moms do it!
Ryan is getting over RSV and I am back to work as of yesterday...he is still waking at night coughing/choking and needs to be suctioned. I now wake up on my own at 3:30 am ready for it. This lasts til about 5am and has been going on for the past 12 days. All I can say is I am now a major coffee drinker (used to hate it!)

Chai drinker here. I think I'm running on empty though. The only reason I was awake on the 1.5 hour train is because adrenaline. I barely made my late train this morning. Debated working from home, but couldn't do it today.

Ugh, I remember having to leave Joseph with the grandmas when he had RSV because I *HAD* to be in the office.

Re: I don't know how you working moms do it!
Hope he feels better!
I work F/T and P/T and it's VERY hard!!! Connor has been sick for a month now, Caiden got over his cold mostly a couple of weeks ago. Connor has been sleeping ok at night for the most part thankfully.
The hardest part for me though was when Caiden was a baby. He was up every 1.5-2 hours to nurse every night until he was 8-9 months old and I was working F/T since he was 6 weeks old. Talk about sleep deprived! Connor has been soooo great (knock on wood) he sleeps through the night. Soooo different than Caiden it's amazing!
It is a lot harder when both of them are sick though. It's one or the other that needs mommy. If one sleeps, the other doesn't.
Here are some more

I know how you feel. I called in sick today...both boys are so sick, and they are miserable. I felt bead leaving them, and thought they would be more comfy staying here than going to my inlwas who watch them...plus I didnt want to hear their comments

My twins are both sick, its awful. I feel like have the darkest circles under my eyes. Luckily I have sympathetic bosses.
