I don't know if I should pull my hair out or laugh.

So my 4 year little "angel" has been going through this stage where if I tell him to do something or try to discipline him, he talks back to me.

It always starts in a high pitch voice with "well".

I told him to put his toys away...and he tell me..well, you better put the laundry away.

This is all day long.



I know I shouldn't give in to it but I do and then we go back and forth. He just told me that he's going to take the sun/son out of my life. I was like...what son? He says...the one in your sky. I laughed and he says..."Well, too bad for you...you're too short to reach it."

Omg, I can't with this kid today...

I know I shouldn't laugh but that was funny...

I've been dealing with the same thing with Nate. Sometimes we try not to laugh but other times I just wanna grab him by the arms, but I know I shouldn't do that so I usually give him one warning and then it's time out or he stops what he's doing. The other day was in a bad mood and he wouldn't let up...so I gave him one warning and told him that the next time he talked back I'd pull over the car. Wouldn't you know it less than 5 mins later he was at it, so I pulled over the car and whispered in his ear calmly that he better stop talking back to me. It scared him a little when I did it bc he knew I was serious. He's definitely been better about it and stop after one warning.

I'm laughing now that I'm re-reading it on the computer. When it was happening, I was furious.

reminds me of my DD..... i never know whether to laugh or bang my head on the wall either.. sorry im no help!

I want to laugh but my DS isn't even 2 yet and I'm afraid...very very afraid
