I don't know what to do but I think my wood floors are hindering Gianna from crawling..
She is 7 1/2 months and she gets up on hers knees and rocks a bit but then just goes back on her belly and pushes herself backwards wherever she wants to go.. I looked back in a post and saw that some got the foam puzzle mats, or the knee pads.. Any thoughts would be great.. Thanks

Get some babylegs leg warmers, they are great for learning how to crawl!

My nephew was the same way and they have carpeting. He did that for about a month before he started to crawl and now he is everywhere. You could try those mates or maybe an area rug and those leg warmers are adorable.

what about knee pads?
link
Ds learned to crawl on carpet, but once he got going, the hard floors helps him get his knees up and he would walk on all fours. He never crawled on floors if he didn't have pants on.

I worried about that too. Antonio did the military crawl for about 3 months before crawling on all fours. I try to keep him in long shorts or pants at home. I don't think they mind though.
You should see how quickly he crawls on the kitchen ceramic tiles which are harder.

I don't think its because of the floors, babies learn on their own schedules.

We have both carpets and hardwood floors here and I thought that the hardwood floors would be difficult for her but I think she just adapted -- when they want to get to where they want to be they just figure it out.
I think she is still young and not to worry yet. I think Emily was about 7.5 months when she was crawling and it'll come when she's ready. She'll just learn to do it on the slippery surface.

We have hard wood falls and Sara crawled backwarda at first now she is all over the place. I would not worry though all babies crawl at their own pace. My son didnt crawl until he was about 9 months old and we had carpet then
