I don't think we're getting the house...
and it's a good thing...
We were really on the fence about the S. Bellmore house and we realized that we're settling...there's no basement, only a side yard and TONS of things to gut and redo. SO, we've decided to pass.
Back to the old drawing board...

I am glad you made the right decsion for you. Its better to find our dream house then settle for something else. There are plenty of houses out there. Good luck and happy house hunting

I'm sorry to hear that, but if you felt that there were too many negatives, it does sound as if it's for the best.
We put down an offer recently and the buyer came back requesting a higher amount, not much higher and still well within our budget. We didn't budge and it went to someone else. I think we realized there were too many negatives also, plus we have received no offers on our co-op yet. So it was a blessing in disguise.
Good luck to you! I hope you do find the house of your dreams, or at least one that's close!
