I don't understand.

Why is it that when I clean the house, cook, take care of the garbage and the cat litter, that's ok, and I'm not supposed be upset that I do all those things, but now that I've not been up to doing those things the last two months, and JT has actually had to do them, he walks around all ****** off at me for it all of the time. Why are all those things MY job all the time? I work TWO jobs, he works ONE, AND he's home 3-5 days a week to do them.

Re: I don't understand.

I can relate. There was a peroid of time that DH was out fo work for 10 months and he didn't do anything around the house. When I complained, he said that he's not my miad. But now that I work part time he assumes I'll do everything. So I told him the same thing he told me, "I'M NOT YOUR MAID!"
If I don't feel like doing something then I don't and that's it. It will get done when I get around to it, otherwise he's welcome to do it himself.

Re: I don't understand.

PArt of me is on strike because I am sick of taking care of everything, but part of me is just so wiped from working two jobs and being pregnant. I'm just so upset with him right now.Chat Icon

First thing I thought of too.

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I'm sorry you're having a difficult time. Marriage isn't always easy - and being pregnant defintely kicks up the stress level. Hang in there.

Re: I don't understand.

my hubby offered to clean up after dinner today. Great all it involved was throwing paper plates in the garbage and forks in the sink. I told him "no rest your tired feet you only did the vacuuming, cleaning the ferrets cage, dusting, washing the dishes, unloading the dishwasher, 3 loads of laundry and put clorox in the water system. Not to mention browning the meat and putting together a big pot of chilly for his pot luck at work. No just sit there on the couch petting the dog. It's ok the maid will take care of it. And when she's done she'll bake you fresh chocolate chip cookies and pour you a giant glass of cold milk then she'll give you a foot massage."

Oh yea I am PMSing.... Chat Icon

This is the first thing I thought of too. Do not go near it. He must clean the cat litter.

Re: I don't understand.

would he rather carry the baby for the both of you for 9 months instead of doing household chores?
I think he has the better end of the deal here!
