I don't want to hold your baby
So this video cracked me up last nite. More for the witty nature of it and the comparisons the vlogger makes, than anything else.
Let me just say I'm posting this for a little levity and humor -- this is not a mom bash at all and I hope this doesn't end up with people going off on those damn breeders and their crotch dumplings.  Or moms saying how clearly this is child hating. (It really isn't)
Sometimes there are people who really do insist you should hold their baby. I love kids, but unless I ask, please don't tell me I need to hold your kid. This could go the same for people who insist you pet their dog or let their kid mush their face into yours....sometimes people (parent or not) can not take a hint!

I just don't understand non-animal people at all. I can see someone being more cat then dog and vice versa, but people who hate both, I always found that so odd. I love animals....and not liking ANY seems so....I dunno...wrong. (Not knocking anyone but never understood it.)
Like one of my sisters for example, she hates all animals. Cat...dog...hamster...bunnies....whatever. She wants to eradicate the world of all things non-human. I swear when she looks at my parents dog, I think she's wondering if anyone will notice if she opened the door and punted him like a football down the street.

That is a little unusual, to like no animals whatsoever! Although I'm not a cat 'person' and I'm allergic to them, I can always appreciate the love owners have for them.
I've come across a lot of non-dog people, and ones that are afraid of them too. Since I take him into the office building with me, I don't let Brinkley approach anyone without their permission. But I'd say 95% of people approach us first!

I don't really like animals. At least not up close. I don't wish them harm or anything & I feel bad when people mistreat them & I do enjoy going to the zoo, but I just don't want to interact with them at all.
My whole family is pretty much like this.
I have gotten better with my in-laws cat, but I won't pick her up.

I can understand that.  In Melissa's case it sounds like her sister wishes death upon all animals though, that's what I was addressing.
I think cats know I'll suffer by paying them attention. They always gravitate towards me. That's when I start sneezing on them.

That was funny. I've never been pressured into holding a baby. In fact when DH and I were dating, his friends (who I barely knew) had a baby and we went to their house, and it was DH who was pressuring me to ask to hold their newborn and I was so uncomfortable. If someone doesn't offer, I assume they aren't comfortable passing their baby around like a football.
I personally like holding babies and if someone asked me to I would be more than happy. But forcing a baby on you is just bizarre.
