I feel bad that I did exactly what I
made my mom feel bad about....
Jack is 4 weeks old today and I probably have about 10 pics of him (he cries alot and I only get pics of him sleeping when I think of it.) At 4 weeks I had about 500 pics of Hannah. I spent so much more time talking and bonding with DD. I just can't do the same for him and feel bad about it.
My DH makes a good point that we have way too many pics of DD, BUT I am the 2nd child and always make my mom feel bad about the fact that she has 500 albums of my brother and like 5 pics of me.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. DD#2 is just about 14 mos. and her "1st year" album is up to...ummm...her 1st week, no joke! 
Well, thankfully, I'm the oldest in my family...pictures galore!

I was a 2nd chld too.. there really are not lot of pictures of me either.. and the film projector broke when i was born also so there is not avideo of me anywhere..
I did with the boys the sames thing my MIL did,,(my bil and sil are twins) i have 2x as many pictures of DSs then i do of DD at this age...
you are having a rough few weeks and taking pics is not on the agenda.. when he gets better you will ..
still have a large bag waiting for ya!

DH tried to make me feel guilty too, that we don't have ANY video of Clover. I told him that's his department I work the regular camera, and yes I do have a lot less pics of her than her brother but she's a lot younger too. Don't sweat it, just start snapping away.

aw...dont feel bad about it...the beginning is also very busy and confusing...now that the baby is 4 weeks, u will have plenty more time to catch up!! I only have one child..believe it or not i didnt many pics the first month bc i was too stressed!!!

OMG..you are so me. I am always joking with my parents about how they have TONS of albums full of my sister (older) and only a few pages of me 
I am picture CRAZY with DD and they're always making fun of me about how I better do the same when #2 comes along.
I totally understand

from what i see w/ friends, it seems to be very normal. You don't have as much time as you did with your first, DD I am sure keeps you on the toes!
But, I agree w/an earlier poster, he is only 4 weeks, snap away and no one will know! Just have a camra w/you at all times... and snap - don't worry about how he looks, or that he is in his onsie and not cute outfit - -it won't matter later. What will, is the lack of pics.

I have the same thing too. I make it a point that everytime my daughter goes out to start snapping away or if I can at night when she is asleep, but quite honestly the night one doesn't happen as much because I am tried.

I am the opposite. I have less pics of older DD. What I started doing is taking pics of both DD's together.
