i feel foolish...
but is there a guide somewhere to know what we should be dressing dc in during different weather? I want to make sure my ds is warm enough but I do not want himto be too warm.

I totally question myself, but still feel like we should try to dress them in whatever we'd be comfortable in. For a very little one, maybe just one extra layer, like a sweater or windbreaker on a day like today.

the same clothes you are wearing. If you are in shorts - they can be in shorts; if you have a sweater on - they should have a sweater on, etc

Our ped said one more layer than what we are wearing. If we're comfortable in short sleeves than add a sweater or a long sleeve. If we're in long sleeves w/o a jacket then I add a jacket, etc. Unless of course she appears hot. She also said to go by how the back of the baby's neck feels. if it feels feels warm then lose a layer. HTH!

where we live in CA, its always a little on the cool side, even when its beautiful out. I only dress DD in short sleeves with no jacket or sweater when its over 80.

today i put a little jacket on him. my mother told me the one extra rule....i figure i am warm bc i am walking and pusihng the carriage...he is just hanging out and sleeping

just remember if you go out and your dc is in a car seat or stroller w/ a bundle me or balnket, that also adds heat...during the winter especially i would take Samantha out of her car seat after shopping or running errands and she would be clammy or sweaty!!
