My best friend just told me she's pg. I was trying to be happy for her...I just couldn't. I feel sick to my stomach and I just want to cry. AAAGGGHHHH!!!!

Re: I feel like crap
I am meeting my best friend for dinner tonight and I think she is going to tell me the same thing. She just had a baby in October, via IUI. She has high FSH like me, but her DH didn't have any issues and her life is charmed and they got pg on their first IUI. We were pg together for a short time....
I know how you feel...

Re: I feel like crap
I took my very pregnant friend to lunch at Qdoba today. I was feeling strong and happy but I swear to you, at one point we looked up and there were 7 pregnant women in the restaurant with us!!
SEVEN!! I wanted to cry in my Quesadilla.
We all have those days. And we all have days when we are strong and happy. You are entitled to feel this way from time to time!!

Re: I feel like crap
I know, just when you are feeling down is when someone announces, all you see is preggos, etc.
The worst for me was finding out our best man is expecting. This guy is a complete disaster... declared bankruptcy twice before age 40, never worked steadily, at one point last year never knew where his next meal was coming from and would call DH to go to lunch so DH would pay, didn't take a steady job because at one point he was "studying" (no not enrolled in any university) to become a minister and it would interfere with his daily Bible reading, is undiagnosed and untreated, but textbook bi-polar, married a woman he knew for 2 months and decided to annouce he was going to marry her right before I was to walk down the aisle at my own wedding, moved down to FL, married her, is having a hard time adjusting to being a step-dad, is paying off over $50K in debts, and his wife is no bright-light either
They, both at the age of 40, are pregnant... WOOPS... he told DH he thought he was sterile.
WHY? Because he's slept with half the planet to 20 years and got no-one pregnant
That was the one story through all of this TTC that got me CRAZY

Re: I feel like crap
I know what you mean.....
My g-f (who has been married 10 years and they both said....."we never want to have children...ever!") is pregnant and she is now thrilled. They were only trying for one month. That same day is when I found out about my tubes/myomectomy. Then I rec'd a phone call today from my G-F to tell me that she ran into another girlfriend who is also preggo.
I know 3 girls at this time who are PG. I am truly happy for them but, just sad for me. I keep thinking of those same words that run through my head continuously......"why me?" I hope to one day figure out the meaning behind me struggling with Fertility. I will do my part in educating other women. But, I wish I knew upfront if getting pg is ever going to happen so that I can add closure to my TTC and decide on other alternatives....adoption.
Hang in there! Feel free to vent....we are here for you!

Re: I feel like crap
Theresa-I think that man would drive me crazy no matter what he did!!!
Thanks ladies. I was having a bit of those "why me's" and "how come them's." Especially since she had been saying before that she could just feel we'd be pg at the same time. Had a good cry with DH last night and feel a lot better about it. Doesn't mean everytime she tells me about how she feels, or that the baby kicked, etc., I'll always feel as good--you know what I mean--but I think I can go buy her a gift today and feel good about it. Thanks
