I feel like I am going crazy- please help!

My DS is 3 months old- he does NOT nap during the day. He might take a 20 min cat nap once or twice a day but that is it. Today he has been up since 4:30 ( granted he went to bed around 7:30) He does not like to do anything but be held. He hates his activity gym, hates his boppy seat and because I put him in his swing a lot he gets tired of that by mid day. When I do put him in there is cries ( not always screaming but little cries) I do not know what to do? Am I supposed to leave him and let him cry- am I supposed to pick him up? Is there any ways to get him to nap? By this time of day I could just cry! I feel like I am doing things wrong and do not know what to do!!!

We hada period of time like this. Have you tried swaddling him? That always helped up with naps. I'm embarrassed to say that I have resorted to turning on the TV at times when I didn't know how else to entertain him. I always said there would be no tv until age 2 but desperation makes you do things. I've put hiim in his newborn-toddler rocker and put on Nick Jr. It works well sometimes

DD was like that for a period of time. I finally started swaddling her for naps, and it made a world of difference. Maybe give that a try?

Do you h ave a jumper? Maybe try that, my Ds loves it. His feet dont hit the ground, so just place a few towels under him.

thanks! maybe i will try to swaddle him. most times he falls asleep while eating (b/c he is so tired) but when i move him he wakes after like 10 mins!!
