I feel like I hit a wall ..
I was feeling good - normal, slowing down a little here or there, but basically keeping up w/ life as usual - Until I hit the 32 week mark last week and all of a sudden I feel completely run down and exhausted - but not just tired, my WHOLE body feels like I got hit by a bus .......
Is this normal? I went to the Dr. last night and he knows I"m not one to complain - especially about stuff that's 'normal pregnancy stuff' I just suck it up and deal ......and he basically grinned at me and said 'oh just wait, it will get worse' .......so if it is what it is, fine, I'll deal with it - but is it normal for it to just come out of NOWHERE?
I don't feel SICK (ie: coughing, sneezing, headache) or anything like that ......my body feels like I have the flu, w/o any of the other flu stuff - KWIM ??

Re: I feel like I hit a wall ..
Yep, been feeling like that for a few weeks I am 34 weeks and completely feel like I got hit by a bus. My body just hurts EVERYWHERE. Granted, I am dealing with preterm labor (contractions) and mild preeclampsia (which I'm sure contributes to it), but I can totally relate to how you feel. It's like all of a sudden you're slowing down, right?
Hang in there! I keep reminding myself that the end is near!

Re: I feel like I hit a wall ..
I don't have any 'issues' .....(believe me I wouldn't DARE to complain b/c I have had it pretty easy) .....
As long as it's a normal thing, I'm fine w/ dealing with it - I was just concerned I was coming down w/ something b/c it hit me all of a sudden like a ton of bricks and I can not shake it -

Re: I feel like I hit a wall ..
I felt like that both times and it stinks. The only part I thought got worse after that point was sleeping at 36+weeks and trying to get comfortable when I was relaxing.
Just try and take it easy on your down time.

Re: I feel like I hit a wall ..
I am 34 weeks and the same thing happened to me two weeks ago. I have to say I'm feeling a little less exhausted now. Depends on the day and amount of sleep I am able to get. Were almost there!!!!

Re: I feel like I hit a wall ..
Yes - it won't be everyday, but it will happen with more frequency as you approach your due date. On those days just try to take it easy - it's your body's way of telling you to rest up a little on that day

I started to feel that way too around 32-33 weeks. That was when I really started to understand women that would say "I'm so done" towards the end of their pregnancies!

Yep, totally normal. You are almost done. The same thing happened to me. Just blah. Feel better, just rest and put your feet up when you can.

Re: I feel like I hit a wall ..
Totally normal!! You are going to have good days and bad days. Sleeping, walking, is going to become more difficult. I was so suprised how much everything changed within a few weeks. I had tons of energy for a few days last week due to nesting. Now I'm back to my normal run down self.

Totally agree!! Everyone kept asking me earlier on if I was ready. I would always say no, and that I was fine being PG. Once I hit 37-38 weeks, I can officially say I'm done!!!!

Re: I feel like I hit a wall ..
Totally normal. I remember feeling that way with my DS around 32 wks. With this one, it started very recently so around 30 wks. I agree with what other posters said about your body telling you to rest a bit if you can.

That's the feeling I had in the first few months and people said, don't worry it will get better... but then come back in the end. So by that I'd assume it's normal. I guess it's one step closer to your body getting ready.
Like in the beginning, we feel that way because our bodies are working over time to latch and split cells and get hormones working and rearrange organs. Now at the end, your body is gearing up for what's to come in a few weeks! So it's sucking your energy.

Re: I feel like I hit a wall ..
oh-the last 2 months of pregnancy are so horrible. You are swollen so the extra fluid puts pressure on your joints. My feet felt like they were going to break, my groin felt like a wish bone. But once you heal from the birth you totally feel yourself again
