I feel really bad....
This woman, W., from the company I was let go from sent me a really nice email yesterday that she heard of my new whereabouts, congrats, etc. she was super sweet when i was let go - supportive, offered to be a reference, etc. so i emailed her back, thanking her for her well wishes and for her offer to be a reference, etc and asked how she is. she tells me not so good, that it looks like she's going to be the next one ousted most likely, she finds out monday. i can't stop thinking about her now. i feel awful. i can't stand how honest people like her and me get kicked out while a-holes like my old boss get to stay. DH tells me that i shouldn't care but i can't help it....I know people are getting let go everywhere but this company is doing great. they aren't letting ppl go b/c the company is doing bad. they are letting people go b/c they are f'd up, politics, etc.

Yes its sad but it is happening everywhere....I know, it happened to me in February. It is unfair and really sad.
