I fell this morning...Update
I fell this morning in the shower...I landed on my butt but landed REALLY hard. Should I be concerned? Should I call the doctors office when they open? FYI...I'll be 4 months next week....not sure if that makes a difference.
**The nurse just called me back. She said as long as there's no bleeding or heavy cramping I should be ok...just to keep watching. That's what I figured but like you all said it can't hurt to be sure. Thanks for the advice.

I would just call. You are prob fine but it will make you feel better just hearing it from a doctor.

I'm sure I am too. I didn't think much of it when it happened...except OUCH. But i'm a little crampy(not painful) this morning so it got me thinking...I feel like this every once in a while though so i'm sure it's nothing. Thanks.

I would def call your doctor....better to be safe than sorry. I got into a car accident about 5 weeks ago (I was 18 weeks along) and when I called the doctor they said that it was my choice to go in and be checked out or not. I wasn't feeling any pain though because it wasn't a serious accident. But it put my mind at peace that they weren't worrying and that I could come in at any time if I started not feeling well.

Oh my goodness! I hope you are okay!! I'm sure it's nothing but a bruised bum, but I would call just in case! It can't hurt, if anything it will just ease your mind!!

I dread these things- I am a clumbsy oaf.
The shower is one thing- I am going to be super pregnant int he winter with ice and everyting.
I may walk around in ice climbing shoes.

Wow, scary! Glad to hear that you are fine though. I fell in the shower on Feb and needed 12 stitches on my chin, so it's a good thing you landed on your butt! Feel good.

OMG I can't believe that...glad your ok. My fall was basically my fault...I need to be more careful. I have a bench seat in my shower that I was sitting on while I was pumicing my feet. I had my one foot on my knee and the other on the floor for leverage...seems my butt has gotten bigger because I didn't have as much room as I normally do. My foot kept slipping a little but I thought I was ok...well before I knew it my foot went flying and so did I. It hurt like hell but I had a good laugh at myself for being so stupid. Today I learned that pregnant women should not try to balance their ever growing tush on the little spot on the bench that is free from toiletries...lol.

I fell down a flight of wood stairs when I was about 4 months preggo. I lost my footing and then slid down them on my butt. I was fine and so was the baby. I'm sure it's the same with you.

Glad everything is okay. I fell about 2 weeks ago (about 16 weeks) and called the doctor and actually for my own piece of mind went in the next day. Everything was fine. I just learned to pay attention to what I am doing now - I am sooo spastic!
