I figure this might be the best board for answers. IUD users, I have a ?
I got the Paragard around March I would say. Every now and then when I would sit on the toilet for a BM I would be hit with this incredibly unbearable pain that would make me have to literally stand up. It feels much like a rupturing ovarian cyst.....
It doesn't happen all the time, maybe every few weeks or so, but I am thinking maybe it's the IUD poking my insides?
Anyone experience this?

You should not feel your IUD at all. I would make an appt. with your OB to make sure the IUD is placed properly.

Yeah you shouldnt feel any pain associated with it, unless its out of place like the PP said.

I think it might be gas pains. I have the Paraguard for 10 months now and never feel it. I check it sometimes to make sure the string is still their and that is all I feel (which feels like nylon).
