i figured i would ask you girls on here about something
nice i could do or get for my parents and dh's parents..they have helped us so much when dd was first born. she was really tough to handle. and now that she is good..they are going to take dd for a few days while dh and i go away. i know they would NEVER take money and would feel insulted..but is there something i could get for them? or something i could do? dh's parents dont go out to dinner or anything..any suggestions? thanks so much

you can get them a nice I love grandma and grandpa picture frame with the baby's picture in it. And just write a nice note to go with it...

I like the frame idea too.
I have also done their favorite treats as thank yous too. DH's parents are in love with Cheesecake and my parents love any fruit that chocolate dipped.

How about sending them a gorgoeus bouquet of flowers or some candy, or a cookie bouquet or a fruit bouquet. 1800flowers.com has some nice stuff from food to flowers, etc.

i didnt know 1800 flowers had food..i see alot of adds for those fruit boquets which are cute..maybe ill look into that..

Do you cook or bake? Maybe invite them over for a really nice home-made dinner or bake them cookies or brownies or something else you know they like?
I like the pictures/frames idea and the flowers too.
