I found AJ in the bathroom with a boy, who was pulling up his undies and his pee-pee was hanging out...
I kid you not!
I left her with a ‘babysitter’ for all of 2mins at this open house/orientation thing we had last night. The babysitter was the director’s 20yr old daughter. There were about 7 kids in total of all different ages.
I left her in there to play and 2mins later I went to grab her since we were moving into the individual rooms and wanted to bring her with me. I walk in and say “hey, where’d you run and hide to?” since it has been such a short time. The girl says “Oh she’s over there” and points to a room. I pull the mostly opened door all the way open and see it’s a bathroom. A little boy is pulling up his undies but his pee-pee is still hanging out and AJ is watching him while munching on apple jacks in a zippy.
I asked her to come away and got her attention (I didn’t want to walk in there and scare the boy) and then we washed her hands (just in case) and I took her over to her room. Apple Jacks were trashed btw. I told Jim when we joined him in her room…. “I just caught your daughter playing doctor, she’s WAY too young for that kind of play”
Both of us thought it was funny. Now though, later I think it was a little awkward and I’m glad I didn’t leave her in there for long.
But MAN, do I intend to torture her with this story later!
ETA: the boy was maybe 3, nothing inappropriate was happening

Yikes! Honestly, I don't really find it to be funny. How old is your DD and what is this place - a preschool? Does the girl you left her with work there and have responsibility to watch the kids? If so, I think I'd look into another school.
ETA: ANd who was watching the 3yr old boy? What was he doing alone with your DD in a bathroom with his pants down 
Just want to clarify - I'm not saying it wasn't innocent - of course it was! I just personally don't like that they had the opportunity to get into that situation.

I think its innocent enough as long as you had the talk of no touchies, etc. Perhaps the girl was not experience enough to watch all those kids (i know i wouldn't be able to keep tabs on all of them)

agree, although i am sure everything was innocent, i would still be a little perturbed.

I'm sure it was innocent.
I would mention it to the director just as an FYI on the boy. He probably needs to be watched more closely. Actually, there was a lack of supervision there so I'd definitely mention it.
edited to add - I just realized it was a bathroom she walked into ....disregard the above...I thought it was a separate room where he pulled his pants down with the intent of showing her.

I honestly wouldn't be too bothered by it. Last year in DS's classroom they had a bathroom. So all of the kids took turns and they all went with the door open. I don't see an issue, but maybe that's just me.

I'm sure it was innocent and the boy was going to the bathroom with the door opened and AJ walked in. I personally wouldn't make too big of a deal of it because you don't want to close that door too much. Just tell her to not touch and such.
FYI, I probably wouldn't have thrown out the apple jacks.

No she is not a teacher
No she does not work at the school
It was just a babysitter type offer
She was all by herself which is why I originally didn't want AJ in there but as I said she followed a teacher in and was having fun and it looked ok.

sorry to have shocked so many. I thought it was pretty humorous. awkward but kinda funny.
I don't think they (the kids) were up to anything. I can't imagine telling the director. I was sharing cause i got a giggle out of it.
It was awkward because I didn't immediately know how to not terrify the boy! AJ could have cared less and other than germs I wasn't concerned so much about her. I just felt odd to be standing there with a little boy and all his business hanging out. I hear how potty training is so hard I can't imagine having a strange adult standing there could be good for him.

I'm with you, don't think twice about it. They are 2 and 3 yrs old! It's not like they had planned this out after the highschool dance! Let it be, I would have chuckled also.... Poor boy, he prolly was like...this is what I have to do to get some attention around here!! Haha J/K. This is the least of what's to come later on in life :)

I'm sorry, I mean no offense, but this just made me what was he doing in the bathroom with his pantsdown? Probably going to the bathroom.
She probably followed him in there, I don't think its a big deal that she was in there, but that no one was watching her, keeping her from lingering in there and not re-directing her elsewhere. That would bother me. As long as the 20 year old isn't the one that will be caring for my child I'd just laugh it off

My DS just turned 3. I cannot imagine at a school orientation that I would just send him off alone to go to the potty. That is what I meant. I would assume that either his parent or the teacher would have been with him considering it seems like both this room and the bathroom were outside of the area where everyone else was.
That said, once she clarified the situation - I agree it was just a funny mishap.

My DS pulls my god daughter , my dh, myself, really anyone who will come into the bathroom so they can see him PEE in the POTTY. Also my god child is curious about potties. Sounds like either she walked in on him, he wanted her to see what he could "do" in the potty. To me not that big of a deal.
