I found how to keep my boys sleeping through the night!
SWADDLE them again...
I posted yesterday about how frustrated I was that both of my boys were waking up a million times in the night not even to eat but they just were awake and wanting to be held...I couldn't let them lay in their cribs and cry bc I was worried that they would wake their brother, so it was very draining night after night getting no sleep. As soon as I would get one to go to sleep, the other would wake up....and the cycle would repeat.
Last night after getting no sleep once again, I saw their old swaddle me's in the corner, put them on them while they were both wide awake, put them in their cribs, and they fell right to sleep - and STAYED sleeping!!!!!!
what a miracle..
now - is it bad to be swaddled at 4+ months?

Not at all. I would have kept my son swaddled for as long as he let me. But we had to stop early for other reasons.
If they're happy and like it that way... i say keep going!

i agree with ali - i would have swaddled my DS until he was 10 if he would let me! (um, yes 10 years )
DS broke out of the swaddle me at 4 months and we had to get rid of it, but IMO there is nothing wrong with swaddling them to sleep. if it works that is awesome!!!

how do you guys swaddle your DC at 3+ months? the swaddle me that I have hasn't fit DS in like 4 weeks.. otherwise I would def. keep him swaddled, because he does the same thing ((wakes up and isn't hungry, just awake))

Keep swaddling, DD woke all the time when I transitioned her to the sleep sack at 4 months. They should get better at not waking up so much around 5 - 6 months or so!

I used a rec blanket. DS was different though, he needed the swaddle to fall asleep, after that if he broke out he was fine.
