I gained 5 more pounds
I just don't get it. My last appointment was 2 weeks ago and I had only gained 1 pound in the two weeks before that. So I go this morning and I'm up 5 pounds in 2 weeks.  I really don't understand it. I felt like I ate worse when I gained only 1 pound, and I've been trying to eat pretty well the past two weeks so that i could keep my total weight gain under 40 pounds. Well that's now out the window.  I'm up 39 pounds at 35 weeks. I'm so pizzed!!!

Your still not that far off from the normal range - I hear its 25-35 pounds - and you are almost done - so I wouldnt worry too much - I mean - even now, my weight deviates 5 pounds on a day to day basis - I'm the opposite though - I'm trying to gain back the weight i lost from my horrible MS - so one day I think cool, I gained 5 pounds, and the next day, its gone!

i know its easier said than done but try not to worry about the weight gain, at this stage in the pregnancy you are like retaining a lot of water.... and the baby is gaining most of his weight towards the end....
I ended up gaining 47 lbs  and I couldnt believe it because I didnt eat all that much at all! It mustve been mostly water weight because today, 15 days after DD was born, i am down 41 lbs, so i only have 6 more lbs to go to be at my pre preggo size!
besides, its all for a good cause!

I think its just going to keep climbing at the end. I always gained a pound or 2. Now I am gaining 5 pounds every appt (4 weeks). Next week I start every two weeks...I can only imagine!

don't worry...in the last month alone I gained almost 20 pounds in water weight
I wound up gaining 53 pounds total
Right now I am 58 pounds down and 5 pounds under pre-pg weight...it DOES come off...
enjoy your last few weeks of being PG...and if you are feeling fine, eat like a little piggy
