I gained 7 lbs last month!
And I dont know how
The doc told me to make sure it doesnt happen again!
I had a wedding Sat and ate tons of food and I was in the city on Sunday and ate tons of crap. I think I was holding onto salt. The doc asked if I was eating bacon, sauasage, chinese food and I said no.
I am up 15 (from 160 to 175) at 26 weeks
Im 5'11 so it doesnt look like I gained it but still!!
When I came home from the doc I was a little upset! I weighed myself on our scale and it said 175 too! Then this morning, I weighed myself and it said 170!! WTH? I dont understand. Maybe I am holding onto salt and/or water

what time was your appointment???
I ask because i always weigh less in the morning than in the afternoon. So i always make my doctor appt's in the a.m.

Ugh! Who cares! I gained 8 lbs. this last month for a total of 13 lbs @ 20 weeks and my doctor didn't say a thing.
You look FANTASTIC and like you said you are 5'11", any weight has a lot of space to evenly distribute and I really wouldn't worry too much about it.

I do night appointments because DH likes coming with me
I might switch next months to the morning!! lol
And of course we are having a pizza and salad party today for administrative professionals day!! lol

Well think about it. Think about all the food you eat during the day, all the water you consume and how full you are and then you're weighing in shortly after. So i doubt you've really gained 7 lbs! I mean half of that could be just from all the water you drink!

I remember at about 26 weeks I gained six pounds in one month and the doc said to try not to let it happen again. I called my mom crying. I did start eating more healthy after that and I only gained 18 pounds by the end!
Please dont stress like I did!

I always weigh less in the morning too. I'm curious to see what I'm at at my appointment next week. I will be 20 weeks and have gained about 4 lbs total.

I gained 5 lbs since last month ! But I thought we were supposed to gain 1-2 lbs a week or did I get this wrong

If this makes you feel better. I gained 4lbs this month....not happy, I am 5ft tall and every lbs is noticeable.

it is totally possible to gain 5-7 lbs in one day - it's all food and water weight! don't worry about it, you look fantastic in your pics!!

I am 24 weeks at up 18 pounds, i don't think that is too extreme. No one said anything about it to me. I think you are fine.

don't worry! that happened to me around that same time too. I wasn't really gaining anything at first and was all happy and then all of a sudden I gained 8 lbs from one month to the next! After that it kinda leveled off.
