I got the results back from my abdominal CT scan
I have a small hard lump behind my belly button. My original dr said not to worry about it but it seemed odd to me so I went for a 2nd opinion. That dr sent me for an abdominal CT scan. They found that I have a small umbilical hernia and apparently 2 kidney stones  But they want me to go back for an additional CT scan of my lower abdomen and pelvis as well and asked why and they did not really have much of an answer. I'm wondering if they saw something else or want to confirm the kidney stones. I am nervous now b/c DH and I planned on TTC again in December so #1 I'm really not happy about all this radiation, especially from the contrast dye especially if it not absolutely necessary and #2 I am scared that they think they saw something else. I just had my 1 yr GYN visit and my pap came back normal plus she did some blood work since we are going to TTC soon and everything came back fine so I'm not too concerned with anything wrong in my reproductive system. Ugghhh...I guess I will go back and see the dr and talk to her about this.

I'm actually surprised they didn't do the other scan that day. You need a scan of your entire abdomen.
sorry to hear about the hernia and the stones.
Don't worry too much about the radiation. It's your health first, then babies. The radiation is not going to be harmful to you and your future children. In fact, taking care of the problem now before you TTC will probably make for a healthier you.
