I guess, even at my age, it is nice to have parent's approval....
We aren't telling many people our name choice as we are leaving it as a surprise.
I love our name and it is also a great tribute to Liam. My dad HATES all names, I am convinced the only names he likes are Kathleen, Eilleen and Robert (his kids).
I told him our name and he LOVED IT!!!!!!! He couldn't get over how pretty it was. I even told him that we are middle name is undecided and his reply was:"Kathleen between you and me I wouldn't even do a middle name. The name is so perfect it stands on its own."
Makes me happy and excited!!! Not that I would have even DARED to changed the name if he didn't like it.

aww that is great! i was afraid to tell my parents DS's name because it's italian (as is my DH's family) and they are jewish. we waited until he was born and it turns out they LOVE it - and my mom was even hoping that would be his name!

The one thing that makes me hesitant is that it is, in fact, a tribute to Liam. Unfortunately, a lot of people in our lives have been rubbed the wrong way by certain things we have done to remember our son. So it makes me hesitant. But I know this board has been so supportive.

having never lost a child i have no idea what i would do. but however you choose to remember your gorgeous baby angel is YOUR decision and anyone who has anything negative to say about that is a moron
