I guess I'm scared...
I never wanted to get involved with taking my temp, charting, using kits, etc. Isn't there an easier way? We are just starting ttc. I went off BCP about four months ago. Got those Cyclebeads too.
In your opinions, are there any books, other things you would highly recommend?

I dont really know what cyclebeads are. I dont temp, but I do use OPKs. I figured that temping would drive me nuts- and I didnt want to get nuts. My cycles are pretty regular- so I figured there was no need to start temping. I did however, get Taking Charge of Your Fertlity. In this book, they talk alot about charting, temping, etc....but they also talk alot about other things. I found it extremely useful!

Oh, the cyclebeads can be found at cyclebeads.com. They are so easy to use and I figured I would give them a try!

I suggest relaxing and letting Nature take its course. Too much concentration and you might stress yourself out...I'd simply figure out when you are most likely to be fertile and then try to remember to BD then.

i was the same way you are
I have since used OPK's.
Not sure if i will temp or chart...
I hate that sooo much time, thought and energy goes into this but it does i guess
I read Taking Charge of your Fertility...i found it very good..

don't cycle beads assume that you ovulate on day 14?
from my experience...yes, temping and charting took some time, but I enjoyed getting to know my body and it took only one month for us while using opks and charting. who knows how long it would have taken had I left it up to chance.

I did temp when I had my first m/c and actually found out that I had a short luteal phase which was good info to have. I have fixed that problem with progesterone and b vitamins. I stopped temping now and just do OPK's saliva monitor sometimes and my bodys signs
