I guess it made something of a difference...

I mentioned about a month ago that I was going to talk about safe driving with my juniors, and when I did, they seemed really affected by it. Well, I just got an e-mail from one of the kids in one of those classes that a friend of hers (from another school) was killed in a car accident this weekend. But she did write this: "Thanks for telling us you care about us and thanks for talking about safe driving. You are the best, I wish everyone heard what you had to say that day.=\ "

I just want to give her a hug. I wish these things didn't happen.
