I guess this is happening again
So I am cycling again. I start birth control pills tonight. I cant really believe this is happening already. I am still numb, I think thats a good thing though. I was numb before my FET too. I am doing flare protocol with maximum doses of gonal f and repornex. They are trying a different drug to see if I get any better response. If all goes as planned I will have ER and ET end of August/beginning of September.
Anyway if I am not aorund much this weekend my computer is down so dont worry about me. I know you would all be losing sleep over it.

You are doiing Microdose lupron (sometimes called flare)? I usually do that too.
Did they switch you from Follistim to Gonal?

actually I get NO lupron, it oversuppresses me. I start ganarilex about day 7 of stims to prevent me from ovulating. Yes we switched from Folistim and Menopur to Gonal and Repronex.
And doodles, I hope you never have to learn about this stuff.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, just a straight protocol.
How come they switched you to Gonal? I'm just curious, b/c no one ever spoke of switching me.

basically he said it cant hurt, he said he doesnt think it will make much of a difference, but you never know, some people just repond better to one drug over another. It makes sense to me- we do that with patients all the time, I hope it cant get any worse. I am shooting for same response or better. He is starting me at max doses and twice a day this time.

I was having a bad time responding and making good follicles. They had me take 40 mg of Tamoxifen for five days along with max dosages of Menopur and Braville (3 and 3 morning and night). I got 7 eggs out of the deal which was a lot compared to my usual ZERO! They think the Tamoxifen helped alot. Just a FYI. Not sure if you are having the same problem or not.
