I guess this mom thing really is hitting me
Last weekend we drove to my parent's house near Lake George and it started to snow 1/2 way through.....
I have never been more terrified in my life.......DH was driving and I was totally paralyzed with fear....I couldn't even talk, it was the worst driving conditions I have ever been in.
I didn't even want to look back to see Gavin because I didn't want to be reminded he was in the car, sleeping like an angel. I almost made DH stop so we could stay in a hotel overnight......
Had to have some wine when we finally got there safely.
Having a baby totally changes you, even when you think it doesn't......
The only saving grace was my wonderful dog Norton who spent the whole trip with his head in Gavin's lap.....

i completely know exactly how you feel!
isnt it amazing how your puppies take such good care of our children too just like they are there own!
i love my dog and my DD together its always so cute! best friends for life

I know exactly how you feel. My parents live upstate too and I dread the ride in the snow and always yell at DH to driver slower etc. I sit in the back seat with DS and our little dog on the other side of him.
