I guess travel agents aren't interested in making any money
I can't get anyone to actually do some work and either call me back or give me some quotes...
Anyone have a good agent who actually gets things done in a timely fashion?

Last year we used Michelle Rivers from goawaytravel.com. She was personable and helped us make a decision. WHat was so great is that I did everything on loine through live chats. She looked up the info. and gave me the quote has we IMed each other.

we have used Dawn from Cruise One... i think she is a vendor on here, or at least on LIW... she has been great both times we used her... and responds super fast through email or whatever... we did a cruise to alaska through her and our honeymoon to mexico...

we have used Dawn from Cruise One... i think she is a vendor on here, or at least on LIW... she has been great both times we used her... and responds super fast through email or whatever... we did a cruise to alaska through her and our honeymoon to mexico...
I second her!! I have used her for three trips and she is wonderful!!

Mindy Rozenberg from Travel Experts. She's affiliated with Virtuoso (my old company), which is a consortia of agents who get special access and amenities for their clients that non-virtuoso agents can't get. she's the sweetest woman ever. FM me if you want her contact info.

PS - TAs often have to follow up with the hotels they booked after their clients have stayed there to earn their commission. could be that whoever you spoke to was in a p*ssy mood b/c of it. also, there is no money to be made on air for TAs so (no offense), if that's all you were looking for than I imagine some might make you lower priority.

I have used Dawn too, highly rec her. she is the only one I use if going to use an agent.
