I had a major case of the Baby Bug today!
I was emailing with a friend and we were talking about another friend who just had a baby and another who is pregnant. She sent me pics and I all of sudden got this anxious feeling in my stomach...but a good anxious. I realized how ready TTC I am. Ugh it's so frustrating that we need to wait probably until the summer.

I feel the same way. I get the bug so bad, but then I realize how busy we will be the rest of the winter and spring and I know that summer really is the best time for us. I'm so excited for TTC and all, but the summer isn't too far away and that will give us enough time to squeeze in a few more activities/trips/etc on our own

Well be careful, we were planning on waiting until September but we both got the bug and are starting earlier It's so wierd when you decide to throw all the "plans" out the window and go with your gut

DH and I got it just by walking around Babies R Us, try to avoid that place if you're not ready.

This is what happened to us. We were going to start TTC late spring. Then in November, we said "why are we waiting", it can take months to get preggers, let's start now. We are due in August.

That's what I am afraid of. I was planning on going off BCP in March/April and then start TTC in July or so but I think I may stay on longer just so I am not so easily tempted

It doesn't happen that quickly usually-on a good month with everything timed perfectly you would have about a 25% chance of getting pregnant. However, if you wanted to make sure you are not preggers before July, I probably would stay on BC until May just to prevent the temptation from taking over. It sneaks up on you!

My advice...stay on bcp. I was going to go off it in Feb but then dh said why wait...so now I'm off it and have been bitten by the baby bug big time!!!
