I had a small little melt down
And I almost cried at the post office in front of the manager.
I had gone about a week ago to make sure my Thank you's were 39c. The clerk measured them, weighed them, then measured them again. Said yup, 39c indeed. She sold me 4 sheets of stamps. I go home finish them all up and mail them.
I speak with my sister(who lives in MD) today and she mentions how she got hers yesterday and it's really nice, blah blah blah.
So when I go home I see three returned for needing an additional 13c. for "non-standard" size. So I run to my post office to be told by the clerk and her manager that the original clerk was wrong and it is more money to mail them. So I am close to tears when I realize that potentially 80+ Thank you's can very possibly be sent back to me.
Then I realize that they blacked out the original stamps so I can't even use those and just add postage, I have to put 52c on them. I am just beside myself.
And to make matters even worse, DH says that he can't be stressed about all this right now because he just wants to be a vegetable for the night. Yeah, all you did was sign three effing letters D-A-N and lick them closed!!!!!!!!!
Edited for spelling. See that is how distraught I am!!!! I hardly ever misspell!!!

Hopefully it wont be too many. Its weird that sometimes they catch them and sometimes they don't. My mom sent square x-mas cards and only one got sent back for insufficient postage.

i agree too. if yoru sister got her's already then i'm usre otheres did too. sorry the usps can suck sometimes.
