I hate being back at work and away from my little guy
Today marks one week that I'm back at work. At first, it was not so bad, I enjoyed getting out of the house. Now it's hitting me that this will be every day, M-F, that this is permanent, I won't be with my baby.
I know there's nothing that can be done, I need to work. I'm just so sad. I'm wondering if it gets better as children get older and have fun with friends at day care and school. Part of my sadness is that I know right now there's no one he'd rather be with than me, and I'm leaving him.

It WILL get better You'll always miss him, but it won't be as hard, once you're in a routine and it becomes normal for him to be there and you at work, you'll feel better

It's so hard in the beginning because they're so tiny and you're still bonding with them, but it does get easier
