I hate BRU!
in Bohemia..I tried using a $5 coupon towards Simolac (which someone on here was nice enough to mail to me) and they would not take it since they ask for ID...give me a break! another reason to go to Target instead..

That is why I used to put my husbands name in or any mans name. I would think if you said that was your husband they would have to let you use it. Not everyone takes their husbands last name so they really can not deny you if it is in a mans name.
Sorry they were such jerks about it.

It's not cheaper anymore It used to be the same at BRU and Target, but now Target charges $25.69 for Enfamil.
But I always buy my formula at Target anyway, they don't give me a problem with the checks and they have good diaper prices too.

I just got my id checked the other day at Babies r us and last week they gave my husband a hard time because the coupon was in my name!

Yeah they checked my ID last time too.. My husband was with me & said to the girl 'So I wouldn't be allowed to use the coupon?'. She told him as long as the last name was the same.
So I said Oh so anyone in his family can use it but MY mom couldn't. Gimme a break

What I dont understand is..The store gets the money back from the Formula Company so why would they care who the heck submitted the coupon????? UNLESS they are assuming that it was possible that the coupon was conterfeit..

Would CVS take more than one? The one by me gave me a hard time and then when I asked to speak to a manager she claimed that "she just stepped out" DS was with me and fussing, so I just got moving.

One of the ladies at the register told me that the formula companies were checking the store's receipts and if there was more than 1 name submitted in the same transaction they were not paying the store back. Come on now, like the Similac people are going to spend all that money to pay people to drive around all day, comparing the checks to the receipts to see what exact second they were used?

Yeah, I notice that too! WTH! Boo to Target!
I have never been asked for ID at the BRUs I go to -- I guess it depends on the manager?  Go to another one and I'm sure you won't have a problem...
