I HATE CABLEVISION!!!!!
I have been waiting all morning for the repair person to come! My appointment window was from 8-11. At 10:52, I received a phone call that said he was on his way 10-15 minutes away - stuck in traffic. 12:00 pm and he is still not here! I just called and cancelled and I have been on hold for the last 7 minutes waiting to cancel! I am fuming right now. What other tv and internet services does everyone else have? I want fios but it is not available in my neighborhood yet!

Me, too. One time, they arrived on time in the middle of a snowstorm. Sorry to hear you are having problems.

I hear you. I've wasted hours...days...weekends...waiting for them to arrive and they ever do. Call after call after call. The techs are great but the people who you talk to on the phone are terrible.

FiOS and DishNetwork.
We had Verizon come by a few weeks ago to install the FiOS. The appointment was between 8 and 12. He showed up at about 8:30.

We had a problem with them too, our DVR box has been freezing so DH set an appt for Fri. 5 minutes before the end of our time window, DH called and they said they came. They had gone to our old apartment and didn't call beforehand like they were supposed to. DH asked if he could switch the box himself and they said that the box wasn't the problem, we needed someone to come.
DH threatened to switch to FIOS so we got an appt yesterday. The guy called, came during the window, checked everything out and told us we needed a new box but, he didn't have any with him
So angry, now DH has to go this week and exchange the box.
We'll be switching to FIOS very shortly!
