I hate FMLA Paperwork

I swear, my company doesnt want anyone going out on FMLA so they make the paperwork so confusing to figure out.
I am staring at a 5 page packet that must be filled out by the dr and by myself, and if its not correct, they will deny me and paperwork will have to be filled out again!
OK, its not like I broke my fingernail and dont want to come to work, I am having a 7lb baby come out of my body!!!!!!
I filled these forms out before to be able to leave early for my dr appts and it took them one denial and then another month to have the Dr Review Board go over them and finally approve it

I feel your pain. I work for a big Cie and when I asked them for the STD/FMLA.... they just told me to look at the form online and print them out.

I had to read the policies. They would not even explain them to me.

I know, I called the woman in charge yesterday, of course, she wasnt in, so she had the person filling in call me who basically said, go by what you filled out on the first one.....that is why I am pretty sure it will be denied, just the headache I need before I get induced tomorrow

I sympathize too- I work for NYC and they also do NOT make it easy at all. And my payroll secretary is very nice, but even she seemed confused, which has me even more worried. Good luck!
