i hate google checkout and tru!!
So I ordered a tmx elmo last week.....when they were in stock...and used google checkout....I got the confirmation and everythng...and now today after not hearing anything I got nervous and called...they cancelled my order - and the woman I talked to at tru had the nerve to say wee, its your own fault I mean you did it to save ten dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  EXCUSE ME??? don't offer it if it doesn't work.....I am livid and since I was already emotional right now - in tears.....dh's mom loved elmo and since she isn't here for her grandaughter's 1st christmas and never got to even meet her, i thought it would be so nice....
i know its so stupid but.....

How is it your own fault? That you bought it through google checkout? How is that bad? It's THEIR fault for cancelling the order. I would call the BBB or even whoever does Shame On You (channel 2?) and complain.
I can't believe the nerve of her to say that to you.

exactly - i wouldn't have tried to save ten bucks if it didn't offer it right on their website...."great partnering" and marketing...I sent a pretty "nice' email to google checkout too....
the kicker is I wasn't greedy, i didn't plan on making $$ I just wanted something b/c of snetimental reasons...and now I had to tell dh who would have been surprised if we got it b/c he called me and I was crying (and he is so well trained he can tell!)

walmart.com is putting 4000 for sale at 12 noon EST everyday starting today thru friday. Someone postd the article on NFR . I got 2 this afternoon

I think it's something TRU did. I've used Google checkout - and saved the ten dollars - more than once and never had a problem. If they didn't want it to apply there should have been a notice on their website. Sorry this happened.
