I hate having dreams of people who died.

I grew up with a boy who committed suicide when we were 15. It was very surprising to say the least.

Every once in awhile, he will appear in my dreams @ random. He never speaks in them, but it's him, and he looks just as I remember him.

I can't think as to why he appears - it's not like I think about him constantly or anything.

Any thoughts on this?

Basically, this was not someone I was close to where I can see them appearing in my dreams - this is just so random and the following day after I wake up from it, I am in a sad mood.

Every so often I have a very real feeling dream of my BFF who passed away 6 years ago. I remember saying in the dream "You are here, I am so happy, then when I wake up I am crying.

dh had a lot of friends who died young, drug and accident related. He says he often dreams about them. He also has a lot of war dreams where he's in combat, or fight dreams. No idea why.
