i HATE irresponsible parents

opinions on marijuana use aside, if you can't go a few hours without smoking weed so that you need to smoke WHILE WATCHING YOUR CHILD you should be b!tch-slapped. or worse. if you don't care about your child's well-being why should i care about yours?

B!tch-slapped? No. Arrested? Yes.

Both? Hmm... maybe. Chat Icon

Re: i HATE irresponsible parents

yikes---that's pretty sad.

my friend's baby's daddy (insert ghetto reference here) was raised that way. his mom didn't work (govt checks on the 1st) and smoked weed like nobody's business. by age 12 -- he knew how to use just about anything to make a pipe/bong and rolled the tightest blunts...and would go down the street to BUY the weed for his mom and they would smoke it together.

unfortunately i *think* that unless you catch them in the act or with weed on them, they cannot be arrested. in most cases (that i've seen) the other parent or an adult suspects that the parent was smoking (i guess from smelling it afterwards) and called CPS.

Re: i HATE irresponsible parents

Even if you think it's ok to smoke week, I agree this is totally wrong for SOOO many reasons. Not only are you caring for a child with imapred judgement, but you're exposing that child to second hand smoke and setting a terrible example. Even if you think it's ok and woudn't mind them smoking when they are adults, it's not something you instill in a child. DISGUSTING

On that note I knew someone who had gradnchildren, one of whom had been in the hospital for asthma -related problems 20 times in his first 18 months of life, and I watched her smoke a cigarette with this baby in her arms. Chat Icon
