I Hate Kraupners! Update: 11/11 Strike 3!

Every single time I've had a delivery from them scheduled in the past year, they've somehow screwed it up. I am LIVID right now. I couldn't get my meds delivered during the week, b/c all of a sudden, their window of delivery was like 5-11. I remember much smaller windows in previous cycles. Sorry, but I get up at 5am and will not be awake after 9.

Had a delivery scheduled today, 11-2. They just called now. The drivers are running behind. Can they deliver from 3-7? Um, NO! That's exactly what I said. I rearranged a LOT of things today to be home right now. I told her I will be home between 10 and 2 tomorrow, that's when they can deliver. I wonder if I can cancel the whole order if they screw that up tomorrow.

I wish I would have told the nurse who called it in not to use them beforehand, but I just didn't get a chance. This is definitely the LAST time I'm using them. (Hopefully for other reasons).


Update Sunday: They delivered within the window. :) But I'm still sore about yesterday :(

Update 11/11: I've never been on lupron so
I didn't know I needed special syringes for it. I checked my voicemail just now and realized that I have no idea how much to use. Long story short, the nurse said the syringes were called in with my original order to Kraupner's. I never knew I was supposed to get them. There wasn't a receipt for them, so I wasn't charged. But then I also didn't know they were missing from the order. She's going to give me a bunch from the office. But I have to go and pick them up. F Kraupners!

Sorry you have to deal w/ them.
I lucked out- Schraft's called me to set up delivery of my meds! I was SO happy not to have to deal w/ Kraupners again..... I didn't think I was allowed to use Schraft's - I thought we used them only b/c of the grant so it was a nice surprise!

I hate Kraupners too. I am planning on using Rockville Centre Pharmacy next time.

This exact thing happened to me with them twice. This is my biggest complaint with them. When they tell you they are running behind and you have to wait longer, it is like an eight hour wait.

I don't want to sound unsympathetic, Im not...but think of it this way, they deliver..at least you don't have to drive there to get the meds and they deliver all over Long island. Sometimes drive 2 hours to get somewhere...if there is an accident or traffic, they are late. you cannot control that.

And they are one of like 2-3 on the island who deliver, they deal with hundreds and hundreds of patients.

I never had a problem but I guess I also feel like I give them some leeway.

Can you have them deliver to you at work?

I too had problems with them!! I switched over to RVC pharmacy, and I preferred to drive to get my medicine knowing it would be done right! Hope you got your meds!!

I am sorry you had to deal with this. The one time I had a delivery from them (so far) everything went very smooth.

Sorry you had a problem...I've had them deliver to me over 15 times at this point and never had a problem.

I'm sorry they're giving you a hard time.

I had meds delivered to work cause I was working too late for a home delivery.

I can't get it delivered to work. Being a teacher, they would have to go through too many other people before it got to me. The parents at the front desk, the main office, then the kids. 6th graders are NOSY!

But it really has been one thing after another with them. One time over the summer, the window of delivery they gave me was 11-3. They called at 3 and said the delivery guy just got there. That's ridiculous. This is their business. They get a lot of these orders primarily because they deliver. They should be more reliable.

10-2 today..keeping my fingers crossed, but not holding my breath.

I ALWAYS had a Problem with KRAUPNERs! I did speak to the Owner and he was very apologetic but, I swear I will never use them again! It wasn't only the delivery time but they
s cr ewed up my order a few times. Not to mention being placed on hold for several minutes!

I hate them too. Of course, I'm a sucker for punishment and gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered from them again for this cycle. I ordered extra early so there wasn't any problem. The day they were suppose to deliver, they called me at about 5pm b/c there was a problem with my debit card. It kept getting declined. I verified my info and they had it right. Then they asked for the 3 digit code off the back. I guess that's what they needed b/c then it went through. Well, that night, I go grocery shopping and my card is denied!!! Talk about embarrasing. I get home and there is a message from the fraud dept. of my bank!!!! I call them back and it turns out that b/c Kraupner's kept running my card through (apparently they tried all day instead of just calling me), my bank but a hold on my account!!! Thanks Kraupners. Then, when I got the delivery, it was wrong. I told them I didn't need syringes b/c i have plenty. They sent them anyway and charged me. I told them I didn't need a pail for the dirty syringes. They sent that too and charged me. Then, they also sent me alcohol pads and charged me!!!! They never sent those before. I didn't need those either b/c I bought them myself for a fraction of what they charge.

Well, I have learned my lesson. 3 strikes and I'm done with them.

What I find really funny is, when they put you on hold, their message raves about how you don't have to go to the pharmacy and wait there for hours while your prescriptions are filled. Has anyone heard that while on hold??? Well, how is waiting at a pharmacy any different than having to sit in your house for hours waiting for them to deliver??? KWIM?? Now granted, CVS will not be able to fill my prescriptions but if a place like RVC pharmacy can, I'd rather do that next time.

Personally, I don't care that they deliver. It's no benefit to me. My first IVF cycle, the pharmacy I used sent everything fed ex. That worked fine and I didn't have to pick a window for delivery times and wait for the driver

Just to reiterate I hate Krupners! I cannot believe what they did to you Christine!! That is just ridiculous! They forgot my ganerlix and syringes. I told me nurse to call it into Freedom. I am done with them. They may have gotten over $1000 from me but this last $30 goes to Freedom Hopefully its the last anyway.

Yikes - my RE signed me up for Kraupners, but so far so good (only 1 delivery so far). I'll be sure to keep your experience in mind when dealing with them in the future! Hope the rest of your experience is smooth sailing!
