I hate my hair!

my hair is so thin and flat it is just awful, the only way to blow it and get any volume is just to make it shorter and I always feel like my face looks so much fatter with it short.. between hair cuts i like how my hair looks for maybe 2 weeks...anyone have volumey suggestions?

To be honest- I have the same problem.
My hair is probably the worst out there.
Fine, flat, not much of it.
And to tell you the truth, nothing helps- except wearing it short like you said. And I have a full face too- so short hair is not flattering.

I ended up getting some clip in hair extensions... and found a perfect color match with Put on Pieces at Ulta.

It is amazing what these have done for me. They are easy to wear, look amazingly real (as long as you get it to match exactly) and give me the hair I have always dreamed of at an affordable price.

I can't live without them anymore...

I understand, I am just coming out of my 2 week period of a decent style. I have gone back to wearing the top back in a comb, to sort of force some vloume in there.

This weather doesn't help either, my hair gets all flat in the humidity.

Cutting more layers as helped for me. Also, sometimes I blow the short layers forward, and that looks ok flat--like a long bang that starts deep.

Let me see f I can find a picture of the style.

Also when I am trying to volumize, I like Tresseme root volumizer & I used to like their mousse, but my can recently went flat.

I have very fine hair and I use 2 products to boost my volume and they both work really well..

Me, too! My friend who owns a salon gave me Joico Body Luxe to pump up my hair before the wedding. It did work, I just keep forgetting to buy it again.

thanks for the suggestions girls, im just as a loss..i see girls all day long and i just feel like their hair looks so together and in place and i always feel kind of sloppy, its quite depressing actually lol.. i will buy some of the things u girls suggested or i think im gonna hafta chop some off, and its not even that long now..maybe if i shaved it all off i wouldnt hafta worry about volume

I think you have lost your mind. I saw you yesterday and can tell you your hair looks good

My mom has very fine hair, she gets layers and adds a little bit of lifting mousse to her hair and that helps give it volume.

Do you use volumizing conditioner?

I was using moisturizing in the winter & just finished it & started Aussie Volumizing today & it made such a difference!

I always see other people's hair on the train & it alwys looks so full & styled, and I also feel like my thin hair looks messy, & unprofessional Getting more of a shaped cut helps.

I have very thin hair and a full face and I find that my face looks better with it shorter than longer... I just recently cut all my hair off and am super happy w/ it.
