I hate my Insurance

I ran out of prenatal vitamin samples the other day so I went to fill the Rx my gyno gave me.
I go get it today and its $60 bucks
I asked the girl "is that with the insurance?"
She told me "No the system says that you no longer have insurance" After making her check a bunch of times I had to call my insurance company (which by the way was soooo much fun on a weekend). Finally got through to someone and they told me that since my insurance gets canceled on Jan 1st that from here on they will no longer be filling any new prescriptions.

I was so pizzed. Now I am have to pay out of pocket for the Met and till I get new Ins in Feb I will just use the OTC prenatal's.

Just wanted to vent my very annoying day.

i don't think they can do that- i'm in the same boat and i'm covered thru 11:59pm on 12/31- I ould call them on monday and ask for a manager--- i would have them send me a check for the diff. of what i shelled out minus the copay!!

Thanks. I am def going to call and see what they can do I just hope that they will be there on Monday.

OMG you need to call them back! that is BS, what would happen god forbid a person got sick or in an accident, they wouldn't cover? you need to raise HE!! for this one!!!

mine were $50.00 with insurance my DH freaked...

honestly I would call your ins and raise holy h*l* ~ this is sooo not right!
