I hate the media..re:David Garvin..killer of the 2 auxillary cops..
I hate the media!!!!!!!!!!!
With all that that horrible man did, everyone he hurt and killed, the media reports the story with the headline into the story with the reporter saying
"The gunman was shot and killed after police fired 56 SHOTS!"
This is just plain RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! He said 56 shots as if this was wrong?????? Unreal!!!!!!!!!! I truly hate the media and think it is one of the reasons situation get so out of hand in the first place. Makes me sick!!!!!

I know, this lunatic was walking around a crowded area of NYC with a semi automatic weapon and 2 full clips of ammo, pumps at least 15 shots into one person, kills 2 volunteer police officers that he turned around and crossed a street to get to so it was clearly intentional, and he's the victim. 
Quite frankly, we're lucky it's only 4 people killed, it really could have been much worse if the NYPD wasn't so quick to respond with armed officers.

 I was literally just saying this to DH! Doesn't matter that these men were unarmed and one was shot execution style
My aunt was an auxillary cop and my brother was on NYPD and I thought the reporting of this was a disgrace

I think this is a case where 56 shots is not excessive and they needed to shoot 500 shots, if it would take this guy down and prevent him from hurting more people

Exactly! But the media rides on the coat tails of the other case and makes it seem "bad."
