I hate this waiting game....
I got to the office early and waited the longest I ever have. Every person in there (except 1) had children with them- I swear it's always when I don't want to see kids that they're dangled right in front of me. 
I explained to the nurse why I was there- NO words of sympathy, encourangement, hope, ANYTHING!!!  I guess they must be used to this but come on...people skills anyone?!
I called to try to set up an appointment w/ Dr. Brenner AsAp since Dr. Kenigsberg is out of the office for the next 3 weeks and the woman couldn't give me an appointment any time soon, so she told me instead she would have a nurse call me back.
About an hour and a half later a nurse called me back and told me that if I wanted to make an appointment w/ Dr. Brenner that he would now become my dr. for my next IVF cycle, whether a stim cycle or an FET, and that otherwise I have to wait until Dr. K comes back
So now I'm thoroughly confused and don't know what to do. Obviously I will wait for this afternoon's results, but though I'm hoping and praying for the best, at this point I'm preparing for the worst. Ugh......

We are all praying for you today  . Don't worry about the doctor situation right now. You don't need that stress on top of everything else.

Shannon you have so many people praying for you!!!!!!!!!! I cannot offer you any advise on your doctors situation but you have always been such a cheerleader for everyone on ALL these boards that I just wanted to be here for you too

Shannon, I'm so sorry you have to deal with this right now  It's just not fair and it's not right that you have to deal with that nonsense with the doctor's office. Please know that you are in my prayers and that everyone is here for you

Hang in there. I know it's tough.
I sent you an FM re your appointment.
I'm sure a lot of people are asking to see Dr. B while Dr. K. is out. I guess this is their way to ask you to wait or force you to reconsider your request.
Did you go to Melville?

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this - and I totally hear you on the lack of caring from certain (not all) doctors - I've been dealing with it as well and IMO it is sickening no matter HOW many times they have heard similar things from patients.

I answered your FM, but would definitely see Dr. B.
Most likely you are going to do an FET anyway...and even if you don't - a different eye couldn't hurt.
Since it's a post IVF consult, they would probably get you in sooner and you could hopefully get in for CD2 testing.

Sorry, I have been out all morning. But I am so sorry you are going through all of this. Its truly not fair. I got an appointment with Brenner this morning but not until Aug 26. I explained my situation and they did not mention anything about him becoming my doctor. May be they just want you to get your beta results first? I don't know. Its so unfair that you have to deal with this on top of everything else.

Shannon, I'm sorry you are going through this. Hopefully you won't have to worry about your next cycle but if you do I'm sure you'll be able to work something out with them.

Sorry you have to wait  I feel so bad for you.
And I HATE when there are little kids at my RE's office...it even says in the paperwork they are not supposed to be in there...but I guess sometimes the parents have no choice but to bring them.
