I havent even opened the door yet. I have the AC cranking and dont plan to go out until later on. Thanks for the warning because I hate the heat too !

I'm so thankful DH and I got central air. We lived in our house for 4 years withoug ac. I was out a little while ago and it is pretty nasty.
I feel bad for the hard working guys out there in the sun.

same here...we ran out to the pet store and to babies r us quick this morning but we've have been in the house ever since.
I'm going to a block party around 4pm...I'm hoping my preggo butt can handle this heat!!!

we have central air here, but last night it decided to stop working. Great!!!
I'm in VA where its usually 5-10 degrees warmer than NY (on average). We got maintenance to check on it this afternoon, and it needs a new compressor, which will come on Monday. But luckily the complex gave us a window unit for our bedroom.
I had to put my makeup on in front of the fan this morning since I was melting. BLEH!!!
