I HATE UTI's!
I HATE UTI's...but thanks to this website, I entertained myself from 2-5 am this morning cuz I couldn't sleep. Thank you all

Beth is right, they really don't go away on their own... a simple prescription for an antibiotic just does the trick and you are usually good as new in no time

I know...I'm going to see how it is by Monday....I don't have insurance, and the doctor won't even take me (it will cost me 200!!)...She just said to drink cranberry juice and take AZO..
I can't take antibiotics either! LOL

Cranberry juice is great only if it is from cranberry juice, not cranberry flavored. But yes, it works wonders.

Oh dear, what a predicament
Ok then, definitely try lots of cranberry juice (PURE cranberry juice, not diluted or a cocktail type of juice) and those over the counter pills can sometimes work..
if you caught it early enough you may be ok, but unfor. its been my experience that once you have them, they dont go away w/out some serious drugs. My doctor always prescribed Cipro for a UTI and it really had very little side affects

i know..i caught myself this time..my ins. doesnt kick in until aug 1st.
i have a very bad reaction to anti biotics..last time i took cipro i couldnt go to work for 4 days 
my mother also told me about the cranberry juice, to make sure its pure, not the diluted or cocktail type..thanks again!!
i only started to notice this yesterday, so i th ink i caught it early enough (thank god for webmd.com!! )

I only have had one and I can still remember the pain! Hang in there, time will take care of this and lots of Cranberry juice!

I ate cranberries right out of the can once because I didn't have any cranberry juice. It works just the same.
