I have 2 ounces in the freezer!

Of breast milk that is!

So 2 1/2 weeks into it and breastfeeding is going great. No need for pumping or supplementing. I did get the Medela manual pump just in case I needed for engorgement or if I wanted DH to do a feeding.

DS occassionally would only do one side, maybe about three times. On the third time, I thought, hey this may be a good time to try out my pump on the other side. I did and it worked great! It was so easy to use and I got 2 ounces in no time!

Once we get more established in our routine, I'll figure when I can pump here and there to work on a stash for emergencies. Until then, if he ever does one side again, I'll pump the other!

If you EBF and pump just occassionally for emergency stash, when do you pump and how often?

Im trying to build up a supply for when I go back to work....

I don't pump everyday, but when I do pump its usually after the morning feeding and if he skips his (9-10ish)night feeding because he is asleep...
