I have 4/5 weeks to go till due date and I have to go for a 3 hour Glucose Test

I took my first 1 hour and passed when I was 28 weeks.

After my 34th week checkup the Dr recommneded I take the 1 hour again because of my baby being on the larger size

My results came back today and I was 140 passing is 130. It wasn't too high but elevated and considered a failure so now I have to take the 3 hour next week. She said if I fail that all they would tell me to do since I have 4-5 weeks to go is alter my diet & watch my carb intake and sweets.

She asked me what I ate the day before and I told her I did have a high volume of carbs (bagel for breakfast, white rice for lunch and dinner was fine and I didn't eat anything passed 7pm)

I'm a little bummed that I have to spend 3 hours at quest UGH!!! Can't wait for baby to be here

Edit: I don't get some searches that I've been doing on the net. They are saying that 140 is a passing grade for 1 hour

i have GD, it was actually pretty easy to control.. If you eat fiber like a salad with carbs, the fiber negates the carb and walking after eating. Helps keep the #'s regular.

I brought the thank yous from my baby shower to write when I took my 3 hour. It kept my mind off of wanting to drink water. I know what it's like having to take a third test. Just relax and enjoy the last portion of your pregnancy.
