I have a question about a wedding invite.
We have a wedding this month and I'm a little confused about the wording on the invite.
It states:
"Please join us for our Adult Reception" at 7 pm".
Does this mean there is no cocktail hr or do you think they meant cocktail to start at 7?

M y cousin had the same wording and they had a cocktail hour

I think that they used "adult" to imply that no children should be there.
Cocktail hour starts at 7, I would think.

That's when the cocktail hour starts. This wording is to make it clear to every guest that children are not invited to the reception.
