I have a vent about hell's kitchen...
OK so i watch the show cause I find it mildly entertaining..
But aside from thinking there isn't much talent there at all this season, does it annoy anyone else that they make the SAME FOOD every service night???
That same fish dish, the beef wellington and risotto. EVERY TIME. And they always find new ways to f it up. I mean I think that after weeks of the same dish I'd have perfected the stupid risotto.
Sorry, just had to vent. I am getting tired of the show and much prefer top chef but that is sadly over

Yes, I too could go for some risotto. But not made by anyone on hells kitchen.
I always thought it was wierd they had the same menu every week.
I would love if Gordon said "No One wins "
this season at the finale

I think that is Chef Ramseys point on why he gets so mad....they are doing the same dish over and over again each night....no need to re-invent the wheel! Just do it like you did the last 5 weeks or so!!

I watch the show religiously. The menu is the same because the restaurant has their standard dishes. They add specials to mix things up a bit but the menu is pretty constant. This is the way a normal restaurant is so I guess it's preparing them to master a menu.
BTW: I hope Petrozza wins!

DH said the same exact thing last time. He said how could you screw up a dish that you keep on making week after week. WHy not change the menu after a while.

SERIOUSLY!!!!! This is how i feel this season!! All idiots, all full of themselves and all really not great chefs! It's so weird to me. But i like gordon ramsey and the show is entertaining...so I give it a chance.
I think it was bobby a few weeks ago who called it "colby beef" over and over. I was sitting here shaking my head...

I do understand this, but there HAS to be some diversity.
I mean even in restaurants they mix it up sometimes...and in order to be a great chef, shouldn't you have to prove you can cook a wide variety??

I always thought about that too..the Wellington and the Risotto. The risotto always looks good 
Although now they added in the John Dory which I think is a fish?

these people arent chefs, theyre cooks. big difference. hes trying to make a "silk purse out of a sow's ear" on this show. trying to show that he can take any one who has minimal talent and turn them into a top chef who is able to handle a high-end restaurant. i watch it because of Ramsey. i think hes a hoot. what i never understood though is, that if you know you are going on this show, wouldnt you get one of his cookbooks and learn how he cooks risotto? hes had that on the menu from the beginning.

I feel exactly the same way. It's like they find the biggest morons that maybe worked in an IHOP or Burger King and put them on TV. Cause come on-what self respecting "chef" would allow themselves to be treated that way? We don't even watch it anymore

I honestly don't think any of the three left should win. The pickin's are slim this season
