i have alot of bread and need to get rid of it...recipes please?
DH and I both bought wheat bread and now we're stuck with two loaves of bread that won't get consumed in time before it goes bad.
i was thinking i could make croutons, but does that even work with wheat bread? what can i make that requires alot of bread? TIA!

thanks guys! i found an excellent recipe for bread crumbs on allrecipes.com, i'm gonna try that! can't ever have too many bread crumbs!

Freeze if you can.
I often make my own bread crumbs to snack on though.
Especially because we always seem to have extra loaves of Italian bread and if you don't eat them right away-----icky.

I love to make croutons out of good bread- cube it, toss with a bit of olive oil and add whatever spices, then toast for a bit.

croutons are so easy and so good, and last forever.
Just mix oil w/your favorite spices...even italian seasoning will do and brush on bread cubes.
bread pudding
bread soup
bread crumbs
you could even make soup, and dump in bread crumbs to thicken the soup (like, instead of flour)
