I have an appt. with the dr. today - update below!

And I want to talk to her about how my Level 2 was only 15 minutes. I want her to make sure that the tech took all of the appropriate measurements, and I also want to ask her to do a sono to see if I am really carrying a boy. The tech didn't show me any boy parts, and before I go spending a ton of money on furniture - trusting what some witch said to me - I would like a picture of his package

Do you think she will do a sono - or send me for one? Or should I not even waste my breath?

DR H told me she was happy to do an extra sono if there wasn't too much of a back up.

I was unconvinced after my level 2 and brought along the pics and she could tell "boy" right away when I was expecting Connor.

I did not have a problem with my level 2, however I was told boy earlier on and then girl at the level 2...so at my 24 wk appt I asked my doctor if he saw the pictures(b/c they did not print one of that area for me)...he said no he gets a report printed out...but i do have one more sono at 32 wks which he said they will look again...so I am just waiting it out.

i would definitely say something. maybe they won't be able to fit you in for a sono today, but i'm sure they'd be willing to get you an appt.

15 min. I was there for at least an hour and had to go back b/c the baby was cooperating. With all they have to look at I dont even think doing it in 15 min. is possible.

I would definetely speak to your dr. and make sure everything they needed to look at was covered.

I would speak to your DR.... Usually level 2 takes about 30 min unless the baby is very cooperative and you get a very experienced tech it can be done in a shorter amount of time but I would still speak to the DR....

They didn't do the Level 2 in their office, did they? If so, I would think they would just let you come back there for another sono. I have the same doc and toward the end of my pregnancy, I was getting growth sonos every 2 or 3 weeks, because the baby was so big. I think I even got some printouts I wasn't "supposed" to.

I requested that she not send me back to Madonna for the level II, since I did not have a great experience there for the Ultrascreen. I went to Nassau Radiologic and found them to be much better.

I just got back from the dr. I told her about the tech, how fast she was, and how rude she was. She said that she gets alot of complaints about her but that since she is sent in from Madonna - there isn't much they can do about it.

She did another sono to double check the sex - and I am still on TEAM And, I have a picture of his little penis so that makes me VERY happy Now it's off to order furniture and start painting blue stripes in the room!

Great update-glad everything went well. I don't know why they don't tell the hospital about all of the complaints? They should!

Mine last about 40 minutes and we had to go back because the way that was laying they couldn't see everything. I am glad that you are going back to the doctor.
