I have entered the world.....
of having a baby that will not lay still during diaper changes. She is all over the place. Rolling, arching her back, grabbing her feet. It's like a struggle every time. I feel like I am breaking a sweat trying to get the new diaper on.
Are there any tricks to make this easier?

Try giving her a small toy to distract her.
It only gets worse as they get older.
I feel like I'm wrestling in a professional match every single morning.
This morning she turned over, sat up and tried to launch herself off the table onto the floor.
It's exhausting trying to get her dressed!

Give her your phone or a remote.
With DD it was just a phase, fought diaper changes for a few months on and off and then it stopped.

I will hand DD ANYTHING to make her sit still during changes. Usually a clean diaper or the tube of Desitin works, but I have to change her QUICKLY before said objects go in the mouth.

I started strapping DD down..t.hose straps that come on the changing pad...I finally use them! She freaks out and screams but it's about all I can do to get her to lay still. Small toys don't work...she throws them on the ground and says UH-OH. I call her my little beast! She's a tough one to change.
I only strap her down when absolutely necessary though.

Mine screams as if I'm cutting his little limbs off.
I've started using a really silly voice and saying "peeepeee". He thinks it's funny. It has worked for about 1 week. A toy helps sometimes.

DS does all of this, but I give him something to focus on, a book, his bib, or his little Baby Einstein radio thingy (he loves it!) and I can usually get this accomplished in a few minutes.

Welcome to my world! I have to make sure I have a toy for my phone near to give her. Sometimes even those things are not enough to keep her still.
