i have my 36 week appt tomorrow-question
they are going to do the strep b test, but didn't mention anything else..
Do you think they will definitely do an internal?

I had my first internal at 36 weeks. It is possible they will do one for you.

Mine is tomorrow also...he will be doing a strep b test & an internal to see if I'm dialated

Every OB office has a different policy on internals, so you may have one or you may not. I asked at my last appt if I would start having them at 36 weeks and I was told they do not do any internals until 39 weeks. Their reasoning is that (1) they don't do anything with the information that early, and (2) every internal increases the risk of infection.
I guess you'll find out soon enough though! Good luck!!

My doctor isn't even seeing me until I am almost 37 weeks. So annoying! I wish you lots of luck at your appt.

Me too, the internal was not too bad, just a bit of pressure ( it was qucik)
